The Juvenile Sex Offender Assessment Protocol II (J-SOAP II) is a checklist designed to aid in the systematic review of risk factors that are associated with sexual and criminal offending. It is designed to be used with boys between 12 and 18 years old who have been adjudicated for sexual offenses, as well as non-adjudicated youths with a history of sexually coercive behavior.
This LIVE training features Sue Righthand, PhD, one of the developers of the J-SOAP II.
Dr. Righthand brings her extensive knowledge and experience of juvenile sexual risk assessment to you in this eight-hour training. Her approach to teaching the J-SOAP II includes hands-on experience with the instrument, with a schedule across two days structured to balance learning with the complicated demands of professionals working with this specialized population.
